  • 2 10.5 oz cans cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/2 tbsp soy sauce
  • Salt & pepper, to taste
  • 3/4 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 2 2/3 cups French fried onions

Instructions

  1. Preparation: In a 9×13″ aluminum baking dish, combine green beans, cream of mushroom soup, milk, soy sauce, seasonings, and 1 1/3 cups of fried onions. Mix well and spread evenly.
  2. Smoking: Smoke uncovered at 350°F for 30 minutes. Spread remaining onions over the top and smoke for another 15 minutes until hot & bubbly.
  3. Serving: Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • For added stability, use two pans for baking and handling the hot casserole.
  • To replicate the smoked flavor, add a touch of liquid smoke if baking in the oven.
  • For a gourmet touch, use homemade French fried onions on top without mixing them into the casserole.
