- 2 Shallots, minced
- 5 Garlic Cloves, minced
- 4 Sprigs Fresh Thyme (or ¼ Tsp Dried Thyme)
- 2 Cups Beef Broth (or chicken or vegetable broth)
- ⅔ Cups Heavy Cream (or Half and Half/Whole Milk)
- Salt and Pepper to taste
- Truffle Oil or Salt (optional)
Additional Ingredients:
- 1–2 Balls Burrata
- 16 Oz Pappardelle Pasta
Instructions
- Brown Butter and Cook Mushrooms: Brown butter in a skillet, add mushrooms, and cook until liquid evaporates.
- Add Aromatics and Broth: Stir in shallot, garlic, and thyme, then add broth and let it reduce.
- Finish Sauce: Pour in heavy cream, let it reduce, season with salt and pepper.
- Cook Pasta: Cook pappardelle according to package instructions, reserving pasta water.
- Combine and Serve: Combine pasta with sauce, mushrooms, and burrata. Garnish with truffle oil and thyme. Serve hot.
