Ingredients

For the Sliders:

12 Kings Hawaiian rolls

1 pound chicken tenders, cooked

½ cup marinara sauce

8 slices provolone cheese

8 ounces fresh mozzarella cheese, sliced

¼ cup fresh basil, chopped

For the Butter Topping:

¼ cup (57g) butter, melted

1 teaspoon sea salt

3 teaspoons garlic, minced

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat the Oven:
  2. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  3. Assemble the Sliders:
  4. Split the Kings Hawaiian rolls in half and place the bottom half in a prepared baking dish. Set the top half aside.
  5. Top the bottom buns with 6 slices of provolone cheese, followed by the cooked chicken tenders, marinara sauce, mozzarella slices, and fresh basil.
  6. Place the top half of the rolls on top.
  7. Make the Butter Topping:
  8. In a small bowl, mix together the melted butter, sea salt, minced garlic, fresh parsley, and grated Parmesan cheese.
  9. Brush and Bake:
  10. Brush the top of the rolls with the butter topping mixture.
  11. Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 20 minutes at 350°F or until the cheese is hot and bubbly.
  12. Remove the foil and bake for an additional 5 minutes or until the tops of the sliders are golden brown.
  13. Serve:
  14. Remove from the oven, slice, and serve warm.
