Ingredients

Ramen Noodles:

9 oz ramen noodles, flavor packets discarded

Stir Fry:

5 cups thinly sliced green cabbage
1/4 cup minced fresh ginger
6 cloves of garlic, minced
1 cup grated carrots
1 large yellow onion, diced
2 tablespoons sesame oil

Sauce:

1 batch of stir fry sauce

For Topping:

sweet chili sauce, to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare Ingredients: Slice cabbage, dice onion, mince ginger and garlic, grate carrots.
  2. Cook Vegetables: In a skillet, cook cabbage, ginger, garlic, carrots, onion, and sesame oil over medium-high heat for 15-20 minutes.
  3. Cook Noodles: Cook ramen noodles according to package instructions during the last 5 minutes of vegetable cook time.
  4. Combine: Add cooked noodles and stir fry sauce to the vegetable mixture, cook for 3-5 minutes.
  5. Finish: Add soy sauce if desired, serve topped with sweet chili sauce.

Notes

  • I used organic ramen noodles, adjust quantity if using regular ramen blocks.
  • Top with sweet chili sauce for a perfect sweet and spicy contrast.
