Ingredients

200g ground beef

½ cup shredded cheddar cheese

¼ cup diced pickles

1 cup shredded lettuce

¼ cup finely chopped onion

8 rice paper wrappers

½ cup Big Mac-style sauce (mayo, ketchup, mustard, relish, paprika)

Instructions

  1. Brown the Beef: In a skillet, cook the ground beef over medium heat, seasoning with salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Drain the excess fat and let it cool slightly.

  2. Prepare Ingredients: Chop the pickles and onions finely. Shred the lettuce and prepare the cheddar cheese. Mix the Big Mac-style sauce in a small bowl.

  3. Soften Rice Paper: Fill a shallow dish with warm water. Dip each rice paper wrapper for 10–15 seconds until soft but slightly firm.

  4. Assemble the Rolls: Lay a wrapper on a clean surface, and place a layer of lettuce, beef, cheese, pickles, and onion in the center. Drizzle with a little sauce.

  5. Roll the Wrappers: Fold the bottom over the filling, then fold in the sides, and roll tightly. Repeat with the remaining wrappers.

  6. Serve: Arrange the rolls on a plate and serve with extra sauce on the side for dipping

Notes

  • Spice it Up: Add diced jalapeños or spicy mayo for an extra kick.
  • Cheese Variations: Swap cheddar for Swiss or pepper jack for different flavors.
  • Make It Vegan: Replace beef with plant-based meat and omit the cheese for a vegan version.
  • Storage: Best served fresh, but can be stored for up to 1 day in the fridge. The rice paper may soften over time.
