Ingredients

Feta Dip:

  • 14 to 16 ounces block feta cheese
  • 3 Tbsp avocado oil
  • ½ tsp dried oregano or dried parsley
  • 1 pinch black pepper

Fig Topping:

  • 1/2 cup fig preserves
  • ½ cup raw pecans, chopped
  • 1/2 tsp fresh thyme, optional

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven: Preheat the oven to 400°F.
  2. Toast the pecans: Toast pecans in a skillet until crunchy. Mix with fig preserves.
  3. Prepare the feta: Place feta in an oven-safe dish, drizzle with avocado oil, oregano, and pepper. Bake at 400°F for 20-25 minutes.
  4. Add topping: Stir feta until creamy, top with fig mixture, and bake at 350°F for 12-17 minutes.
  5. Serve: Sprinkle with thyme and serve with bread or crackers.
