Ingredients

Dip Ingredients

  • 1/2 medium ripe avocado
  • 1/2 cup plain full-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise (preferably avocado oil-based mayo, such as Chosen Foods brand)
  • 3/4 cup fresh parsley leaves
  • 1/2 cup fresh basil leaves
  • 2 heaping Tbsp. chopped fresh tarragon
  • 1 Tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. anchovy paste
  • 1/2 tsp. cracked black pepper
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt

Instructions

  1. Combine Base Ingredients: In the bowl of a food processor, add the avocado, Greek yogurt, and mayonnaise. Blend these ingredients until the mixture is smooth and creamy, forming the base of the dip.
  2. Add Fresh Herbs and Flavorings: Add the fresh parsley, basil, tarragon, lemon juice, anchovy paste, kosher salt, and cracked black pepper to the food processor. Blend again until the mixture is mostly smooth and well combined. Pause occasionally to scrape down the sides of the bowl to ensure even blending.
  3. Serve the Dip: Transfer the dip to a serving bowl. Place it on a serving platter alongside raw vegetables, pita chips, crackers, or your preferred dippers. The dip can also be enjoyed as a spread for sandwiches, wraps, or burgers.

Notes

  • Serve with raw veggies, crackers, pita chips, or crusty bread for a delicious appetizer.
  • The dip also works wonderfully as a spread on sandwiches, wraps, or burgers for added flavor.
  • For a vegan version, substitute white miso paste for the anchovy paste to maintain umami flavor.
